Web pages should have CSS (cascade style sheets):
CSS type sheets are used to describe the content of the pages that is displayed in such a way that enables it to keep its visual appearance without disrupting device independence or adding new html tags.
Many websites of the past did not use CSS type of sheets and because of that writing the code took much more room to create the same effect.
There are two types of Cascading sheets, CSS & XSL. Both are used to pronounce content and documents.
CSS sheets are used with HTML, while XSL is used with XML they both can be used with XML only CSS can be used with HTML.
There are several reason a site should be configured or reconfigured to CSS but the most important reason I can think of is search engine optimization (SEO). When a search engine finds a website without CSS it has to index the table code before it gets to the pertinent information about that website. For example: Title, Tags, Description and keywords. By changing your websites layout to CSS you help the search engines to read the relevancy of your website thus helping to improve your website’s rank.
Again by changing your websites layout to CSS you automatically reduce the amount of bandwidth you use. By changing from tabular form to CSS you can reduce your file sizes by as much 45-50 percent.
Here at Web Insite, Inc. we design all our sites with SEO in mind. We use CSS style sheeting to improve the quality of your website design and layout.
